Ruby Rose Ellis Ranked Number #1 Website Designer on Creative Pool

Website design has always been more than just a job for me. It’s a passion, a way to tell stories, and a means to make a real impact. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible nonprofits, charities, and wellness brands, helping them bring their visions to life through thoughtful design.

Recently, I was honoured (and quite frankly, surprised!) to be ranked as the number 1 designer on Creative Pool. This recognition is a moment to reflect on the journey so far and the philosophy that drives my work here at Studio 77. And it got me thinking… how do we continue to push the boundaries of website design, especially in the nonprofit and charity space?

The Art of Storytelling Through Design

At Studio 77, we believe that every website should tell a story. It’s not just about aesthetics (although this is obviously very important!); it’s about creating an experience that resonates with the audience. Whether it’s a nonprofit focused on environmental conservation or a wellness brand promoting mental health, the goal is to capture the essence of the mission and convey it through design.

One project that stands out is the nonprofit website redesign for StacheStrong, an organisation dedicated to raising funds for brain cancer research. This project was recently featured on Creative Pool, and it showcased the power of design in amplifying a brand’s message. We focused on creating a user-friendly interface that also captured the heartfelt story behind the nonprofit. The result was a platform that not only looked great but also facilitated meaningful interactions.

The Journey of Continuous Learning

Being ranked as the number 1 designer is a milestone, but it’s also a reminder of the continuous journey of learning and growth. The field of website design is ever-evolving, with new trends, technologies, and user expectations constantly emerging. Staying at the forefront requires dedication, curiosity, and a willingness to embrace change.

For me, this means always exploring new design techniques, staying updated with industry trends, and always seeking feedback from clients and peers. It’s about pushing boundaries and not settling for the status quo. Every project is an opportunity to learn something new and to refine my craft.

Every website I design, I aim for it to be better than the one before.

Looking Forward

As I look ahead, I’m excited about the future of website design and the opportunities to continue making a difference. There are so many stories yet to be told, so many brands that can benefit from a thoughtful and strategic design approach.

If you’re a nonprofit, charity, or wellness brand looking to elevate your online presence, let’s connect. Together, we can create a website that truly reflects your mission and engages your audience in meaningful ways.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to many more stories and many more beautifully designed websites.
