Hi, I’m Alex Vernon, nice to meet you.

I’m a spirited yet stubborn lateral thinker, and I always have been. From spending 4 hours on a 12-piece jigsaw puzzle when I was 3 years old- aggressively refusing help from every frustrated passer-by- to solving every ‘whodunnit’ movie and unwelcomely sharing how I did it using my ‘Abed from Community’ level of film knowledge. Needless to say, my brain doesn’t stop ticking!

I am educated in Filmmaking and Special Effects Makeup, and for the past few years, I have been working as an Events and Video Producer. Now, living in Mexico City, I spend my time designing and editing digital media projects, brushing up on my street photography skills and trying to find a tin of Heinz Baked Beans in Central America.

DID YOU KNOW

I broke my left arm when I was 6 years old whilst rollerblading down a grassy hill. In my defence, I thought I was being sensible by heading towards the parked car at the bottom of the hill so it would stop me from zooming into the road. Luckily for the car, I nosedived before I got to the bottom.

I was a keen drummer throughout my secondary school years and I used to be in a band, playing gigs in all the local pubs and school concerts. Long live studded belts and floppy hair! *cringe*

I am a sucker for old-school RPG and campaign games, and I once completed the whole Prince of Persia: Warrior Within campaign in less than 7 hours - and no, it wasn’t on the easy setting.
