Our team had the privilege of designing a Squarespace website for bloss.m Scholars, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering and uplifting African and Caribbean girls in the United Kingdom. In crafting the design for bloss.m Scholars, we employed curves as a visual motif to symbolise change, movement, and growth, reflecting the organisation's commitment to empowerment.
Subtly animated brand elements were strategically incorporated to enhance user engagement and encourage scrolling.
Working alongside Will and Ruby to create our website was an amazing experience. They fully grasped our vision, bringing it to fruition with a website that effectively showcases the challenges and solutions we aim to address for African and Caribbean girls in the UK.

The homepage serves as a clear representation of bloss.m Scholars' values—empowerment, equity, and community—through visually compelling imagery and concise messaging. By prominently featuring photos of the girls benefiting from the foundation's programs, we aimed to underscore the tangible impact of the organisation's efforts.

Consistency in design was achieved through the careful cropping of images to mirror pre-existing brand elements, ensuring visual harmony across the site. On the challenges page, we innovatively organised each obstacle within distinct boxes, accompanied by a scrolling line to guide users towards a powerful mission statement at the page's conclusion.
