What started out as three friends frustrated with their design agency jobs, has transformed into a successful independent website design and branding business that is celebrating its fourth business birthday today.
There was a moment last March when the coronavirus pandemic was just starting, where I wondered if we would make it to this fourth-year celebration, but thanks to the support of our lovely clients and the hard work put in by the Studio 77 team, we are happy to say that we not only survived 2020, but it was actually our best year yet.
So what did we achieve in the last year of business?

We survived the pandemic
And aside from stats and numbers, a lot of lessons have been learnt in our fourth year of business. The pandemic taught me to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life, whether that be walks in the park, long Sunday bike rides, or simply getting up early to watch the sunrise.
After the initial panic of the pandemic, it started getting pretty busy. All of our clients wanted to fast track their websites and get their businesses online as quickly as they could.
Being a website design agency we completely understand the importance of having a good online presence, so the Studio 77 team and I put our heads down and we worked our butts off to get our clients businesses online as quickly as we could (without compromising on quality of course).
We offered free 30 minute website reviews, held free workshops and tried to support the small business community as much as we could throughout the pandemic. Which has lead to me creating a series of online courses and workshops, which I’ll be launching by the end of the year, to really allow small business owners to feel in control of their brands and websites.
I know that we were one of the lucky businesses, a lot of people have struggled and a lot of businesses didn’t survive the pandemic. I see all the other business owners out there working hard, keeping their businesses alive and I salute you! Keep going, we’re nearly out of the pandemic!
