Hermes Creative Gold Award For The Nonprofit Website Design: StacheStrong

At Studio 77, we don't just create websites; we craft experiences that resonate and inspire. Our recent success at the Hermes Creative Awards, where we snagged three Gold Awards, showcases our passion for top-notch branding and website design.

One highlight is the digital platform we built for the nonprofit StacheStong, an incredible organisation devoted to raising funds and awareness for brain cancer research. Let's explore this collaboration and see how design can drive change and inclusivity.

Project Overview

Our design agency was tasked with creating a new nonprofit website design for StacheStrong, an organisation on the cusp of significant growth. With the impending pursuit of major funders and the celebration of their 6th anniversary, StacheStrong needed a website that not only reflected their evolution but also aligned with their future aspirations.

The client sought a WordPress website that not only accommodated their expanding needs but also encapsulated their unwavering commitment to finding a cure for brain cancer.

Bespoke Nonprofit Website Design

Our website strategy for StacheStrong was crafted to meet the diverse needs of different user types while effectively conveying the organisation's mission and values. With a keen focus on user engagement, we implemented several key features and functionalities to drive meaningful interactions and inspire action.

The cornerstone of our strategy revolved around the donation page, recognising its critical role in fueling StacheStrong's initiatives. By optimising the donation process and providing multiple avenues for contribution, including time and money, we aimed to empower users to make a tangible difference.

Additionally, we worked closely with the organisation to highlight the importance of events as primary fundraising opportunities, designing new pages and user journeys to enhance engagement and participation.

Through intuitive navigation and clear content organisation, we made sure that users could easily access vital information, share their stories, and participate in upcoming events.

Leveraging responsive design principles, we also optimised the website for seamless browsing across devices, accommodating a diverse range of users' preferences and behaviours.

Strategy Behind Storytelling

Another key aspect of our strategy was the emphasis on storytelling.

Understanding the power of narratives in fostering emotional connections and inspiring action, we dedicated several pages to detailing the nonprofit's journey, particularly focusing on the heart-wrenching story of the Gerner family, from Colin himself, to a page talking about the family’s story as well.

By sharing their personal experiences and struggles, we aimed to evoke empathy and solidarity among users, compelling them to take action, whether through donations or volunteering.

We believe that every project is an opportunity to make a difference…

Overall, our website strategy and implementation for StacheStrong were guided by a deep understanding of user needs, organisational goals, and the power of storytelling. By prioritising engagement, transparency, and usability, we created a digital platform that not only informs and inspires but also empowers individuals to join the fight against brain cancer and make a meaningful impact. #Let’sLiveStacheStrong

At Studio 77, we believe that every project is an opportunity to make a difference, and partnering with organisations like StacheStrong fuels our creative fire.

Together, let's continue to push boundaries, spark conversations, and pave the way for a more inclusive landscape, on and offline.
